1. License
Subject to these terms, the Wormdrop Team grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Wormdrop Battleground on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules and Family Sharing where applicable. The game is licensed, not sold.
2. Rules of play
You may use the game for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
- copy, resell, rent, distribute, or sublicense the game except where law permits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass technical protections except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the game, its AI connections, or a custom endpoint to break laws, infringe rights, distribute harmful content, or attack systems;
- extract or misuse game assets, characters, code, or branding; or
- interfere with the game's operation or another person's device or service.
3. AI opponents and generated content
Some worms may be controlled by on-device or remote language models. AI-generated moves, names, and dialogue can be inaccurate, unexpected, repetitive, or unavailable. Generated content does not represent the views of the Wormdrop Team. Do not rely on anything an AI worm says as factual, professional, or safety advice.
We may filter, replace, or suppress generated content to support a safe play experience, but we cannot guarantee that every output will be suitable for every player.
4. Optional remote services and your API key
Remote AI features are optional and may require an account and API key from a third-party provider. You are responsible for:
- complying with the provider's terms and privacy policy;
- protecting your key and any custom proxy credentials;
- all provider fees or usage charges incurred with your credentials; and
- the security and behavior of a custom endpoint you enter.
In-game cost displays may be estimated or based on provider-reported data. They are informational and may differ from your final bill. The Wormdrop Team is not responsible for third-party service availability, output, retention, price changes, or charges.
5. Ownership
Wormdrop Battleground, including its software, art, audio, characters, world designs, text, trademarks, and other content, is owned by or licensed to the Wormdrop Team and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
6. Updates, availability, and termination
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features, including compatibility with a device, operating-system feature, or third-party AI service. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these terms. If the license ends, you must stop using and delete the game.
7. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Wormdrop Team and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, third-party AI charges, or inability to use the game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the game during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
9. Apple App Store terms
You and the Wormdrop Team acknowledge that these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content, maintenance, support, warranties, claims, or legal compliance. If the game fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for any refund of the purchase price available under App Store rules; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and you are not listed on a U.S. government prohibited or restricted party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the game. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
10. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These terms are the agreement between you and the Wormdrop Team regarding the game, together with our Privacy Policy. Applicable consumer protections remain unchanged.
