Our approach
Wormdrop is a fast, landscape iPad game with touch controls, movement, aiming, timed decisions, sound, text dialogue, and bright visual effects. We are working to make its essential information available through more than one cue wherever practical.
Current considerations
- Touch controls are sized and arranged for landscape iPad play.
- Important weapon and match information uses labels, icons, and status indicators.
- Bot dialogue is shown as text and can also be spoken aloud.
- Push-to-talk has a canned-message fallback when microphone or speech permission is unavailable.
- Gameplay settings include volume and input preferences.
- This website supports keyboard navigation, responsive layouts, reduced-motion preferences, readable contrast, and semantic page structure.
Known challenges
The game includes real-time aiming, stylized explosions, particle effects, moving camera views, layered audio, and color-rich terrain. Some interactions may remain difficult for players with motor, visual, hearing, or cognitive access needs. Accessibility work is ongoing before release.
